This policy explains how billing, cancellations and refunds work for Velora Studio plans, which combine a one-time setup fee with a monthly subscription.
Each plan includes a one-time setup fee that covers the design and build of your website. Because this work is bespoke and begins shortly after you sign up, the setup fee is non-refundable once we have started work on your project.
If you cancel before any work has begun, contact us at hello@velorastudio.agency and we will refund the setup fee in full.
The monthly subscription covers hosting, maintenance, support and your included monthly changes. You can cancel at any time — there is no long-term lock-in.
When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide partial refunds for the remaining days of a period already paid.
Your website remains yours. If you cancel, we can provide an export or transfer of your site; ongoing maintenance, support and changes stop at the end of the paid period.
If a payment fails, we will email you and give you a short grace period to update your payment method. During this time your website stays online.
If the balance remains unpaid after the grace period, maintenance, support and changes are paused until the outstanding amount is settled. Your website itself stays online and remains yours.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a contract. By asking us to begin work during this period, you acknowledge that you may lose this right once the service has been fully performed, and that the setup fee becomes non-refundable once work has started.
Most of our clients contract as a business; in that case the statutory consumer right of withdrawal does not apply.
You can cancel from the Billing section of your client portal, or by emailing hello@velorastudio.agency. We will confirm your cancellation by email.
